Get Technical

For technical training, Hitachi and your local dealer can provide distance learning and instructor-led learning.

Distance learning is a great way to give technicians a head-start on technical competencies for Hitachi Mining equipment. On-line, anytime courses cover manual and schematic organization and navigation skills that are essential for technical support. Courses available can be taken at: www.jdu.deere.com

Hitachi instructor(s) from the Hitachi Training Center will provide Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3 upon request and availability of schedule. Dealers and/or Hitachi Product Support Personnel also may provide Phase 1 training.

Phase 1: Basic machine orientation and maintenance training at the delivery of new machines

• Safety, maintenance, and basic operation

Phase 2: Standard Instructor-Led Technical Training

• Operational theory, troubleshooting, and hands-on activities on machine
• Three to four day standard class length
• 10 students maximum per session

Phase 3: Optional/Customized Advanced Technical Training

• Prerequisite: Phase 2 Training
• In-depth troubleshooting scenarios, 1-on-1 instruction activities on machine
• 2-day standard class length
• Machine must be available for two full days
• Six students maximum per session
