Hitachi Components

Hitachi builds a lot of its own components, ensuring both cost savings and quality control. Components for excavators include frames, structures, shovel buckets, swing bearings, pump transmissions, swing devices (transmissions), and final drives (travel device/transmissions).

Hitachi-built components for trucks include frames, bodies, planetary gears, differentials, and where the Hitachi AC-drive system is used, wheel motors, alternator, controller, and grid box.
